Is Photoshop CS2 still available somewhere for free download? I got it quite a while ago for a PC but would like to get it now for a Mac.
Thanks very much.
BG
Unfortunately adobe has removed an awful lot of public links to old software and updates.
If you need the non activation version of cs2 you'll have to go through adobe support to get a download link.
Go here and click contact us under Don't see your app or plan?

They keep providing us with this link. Do you folks actually look at these links
before handing them out to "help" product owners?
There is NO CS2 IN THIS LINK! (unless it is well hidden which also doesn't help!)

We'd normally have to tell you that you can't transfer a perpetual license across platforms, but the situation with CS2 means it just might possibly work. You'll need your original serial number to download the special install file
"Activation server unavailable" error in Adobe CS2, Acrobat 7, and Audition 3
Unfortunately, my gut feeling is that it is not going to work for you, as the server will recognise your serial number as being for Windows, but I wish you luck.

Yes it is still available, but photoshop cs2 won't run on macOS after OS X 10.7 Mountain Lion.
Photoshop cs2 on the mac side requires a PowerPC processor and new macs have Intel processors.
Intel macs before 10.7 had Rosseta which emulated PowerPC processor and allowed old apps
like cs2 to run, but apple removed that starting with 10.7.
Your best option if you want photoshop for a new mac is to subscribe to photoshop cc with the Creative Cloud Photography Plan for around $10 a month.
