Photoshop CS3 has stopped working with newest Mac iOS (Catalina 10.15.3) and Apple says:

"The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."

I cannot get in touch with Adobe. Does anyone know if there is something to be downloaded to update the program? Thanks so much! 🙂

Does the version of OSX support 32bit applications like CS3. I would think you would need to use a old version of Mac OS for CS3.

CS3 is dead. You cannot activate it and it will not run on Catalina.

It's optimistic to think you can download an update for 13 year old software - worth checking though! No, Catalina needs all new apps. Photoshop is now from $10 per month (no permanent license any more). This is all part of the Joy of Mac - no dull old apps making it look old fashioned!

Thank you. I just found the correct Adobe page that explains that they are not updating any old apps and therefore will not work. Of course it is because they want to pay in perpetuity, which I can't afford. I am going to cry. 😞

Adobe never has Adobe keep releasing new versions and stop supporting old versions.  Now they seem to be removing old versions from the web as well as not supporting them. PS is 30 now..... there have been 21 releases So Photoshop is supported for   1.4 years 30/21.

UGH! That is the problem. I actually just found a link to an Adobe page specifying that they have no plans to update older versions from 32 to 64 and recommend switching to Creative Cloud. Thanks for the light bulb moment. LOL! This is miserable. I loved my old version and cant afford to keep paying these people every month. I'm really bumed. *sighs* Anyhow, thanks so much for your help! Have a beautiful day! 🙂
