Question

Photoshop CS4 before you perform printer-related tasks message HELP

Hello, I'm hoping for some help here. I'm using Windows 10 and had CS4 installed onto my new laptop via Adobe.com.

Everything installed fine but I can't print and I get this "Before you can perform printer-related . . . . you need to install a printer". error message.

I can print in Word without any issues. I have tried to reintall the drivers, etc. Funny thing is that this is also happening on my older laptop as well. I am trying to print the same files. So could it be the file?

It's just a jpg but I haven't ever had this problem and now I have it on both laptops! So frustrating.

Any help out there would be greatly appreciated. (and yes, I have tried to change my default printer with no success.)

Many thanks in advance and happy holidays!

DK

Hi and thanks so much for your reply.

I apologize if I sound stupid but how do I refresh my OS? This is brand new
laptop and CS4 is the first thing I installed on the computer.

I can uninstall and reinstall again. I already had to do that once because
the initial install didn't work because I couldn't install Flash (and I
didn't want to). So I custom chose what I wanted to install

But thank you kindly for your suggestions.
