Photoshop CS6 Extended installs as 32-bit version on a 64-bit system

I downloaded Photoshop CS6 Extended from the Adobe download page( there was no distinction between a 32-bit version and a 64-bit version).

When I installed the program, it showed me that photoshop CS6 (64-bit) will be installed. After the installation had finished, I opened the program and looked under 'Help - About Photoshop' and noticed that it said photoshop 13.0 x 32, which means the 32-bit version was installed on my 64-bit  Win 10 system and not the 64-bit version.

How do I get the 64-bit version installed??? Any help would be appreciated

check your programs (not programs x86) directory for the 64 bit photoshop.
