Photoshop error grey tabs or black tabs

The problem happens when more than 3 files are opened in photoshop tabs.

 

My computer's hardware

Model: Macbook 15'' with Catalina 15.3

Ram: 32GB

Processor: 8-Core Intel Core i9

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Thanks for your answer,
After deactivating "Use Graphics Processor", on restart it works but it stops working again after opening and closing more files 😞
