Hi, I have photoshop 2020, everything ok, but I have seen that when I open or create a new canvas, the image looks smaller that real size (example, an image of 1800 px looks like an image of 600 pixeles, however, when I export or save the image, the size is ok. Do you know what is happend or how I can fix? it has been a headache!

Thank you in advance

Photoshop is viewing correctly, mapping 1 image pixel to 1 screen pixel. It does not get any more accurate than that.

If you want Photoshop to simulate what the browser will do to it (i.e. show it scaled up) , then view at 200%

When preparing images for modern websites it is practice to supply at varying pixel sizes so that a browser can use the appropriate size for the screen.

Hi ,

It sounds like you have a high pixel density display.

Photoshop 100% zoom is not a physical screen size. What 100% does is map 1 image pixel to 1 screen pixel. It must do that so that images can be critically assessed without any scaling (scaling introduces artifacts). That means that a given pixel size will display at different physical sizes depending on the density of pixels on the screen.

Outside of Photoshop, many browsers and viewers scale the image when displaying on such displays. So, for example, they can use 4 screen pixels to display 1 image pixel effectively turning a high resolution display into a low resolution display. That would not be acceptable in a professional image editor such as Photoshop.

What does Image Size show the canvas size what does the tab or frame info show the zoom scale is? At what scale are you viewing your image. View actual pixels 100% image size.
