Question

photoshop Window > Arrange > Tile(ing) - BUG

When I float, arrange, and tile my images, the image window does not square the photo into a workable framed area but set them askew.

(See attached image for all photos tiled)

The black space is not an active space or the toggled space created by hitting the "F" Key. It is just dead.

When I brush or clone on my image, the result is also skewed, failing to clone in the desired spot but up to the left.

The skew problem only happens when I Tile out my images. Once I hit the toggle with the "F" key, the Photo locks back into a working framed area, and the skew cloning is no longer an issue.

I need to Float, Arrange, and Tile window for my workflow. Toggling each window is not a good workaround.

Thank you for your time, and I am looking forward to hearing what the community has experienced and what you have to say.

Cheers,

JG

Hello, is overscroll active in your preferences?

Could you please post the contents of help>system info, so that we get to know your OS, its version, the exact version of Photoshop you are running, the date of the GPU driver, etc.

Ok, thanks, it is the latest version of everything, did you try to reset Photoshop's preferences by holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Pc) Cmd+Opt+Shift (Mac) as you click on Photoshop's icon to start it up.

See: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

If you do have access to the menu edit>preferences (Pc)or photoshop>preferences (Mac), it is possible to reset them from the general submenu.

Start by disabling the synchronized zoom in the toom tool, should you use it. that may at least fix the centering. the rest simply sounds like the usual issues with inadequate or misconfigured hardware acceleration, so check the relevant preferences, update your graphics driver and all that. conversely of course double-check your input device settings.

Sync Zoom is off. In Photoshop 19 I did not have this issue. I don't think it is a misconfiguration, I will check it out.

Drivers are updated. Input looking good.

Thank you.
