Hi there,
We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop 2020. Would you mind sharing the macOS version of your computer?
You can try going to the Preferences for Photoshop, then Performance and uncheck the option to Use Graphics Processor. Once done, quit and relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.
Regards,
Nikunj

Hello again. Variant with(Use graphic processor) dont helped. It was Catalina mac os. I read that this system work very bad with Photoshop and i back to previous version (Mochave) and now use a Photoshop 2018. But changes was not so good. No go outs... He just froze after Mediana filter on 20 points. On another laptop it was everything ok on 120 and 150.
I start to think its something with my processor or graphics card and tryed to use a lot of another filters that take a lot of CPU. Radial blur on smart objects Blur galary etc. And everythink OK
Just when i use Mediana filter for frequancy separation everything crushed. Its blowminding for me. I cant find a logic in this becouse 3 days ago everything was good.
I will be very happy if you or somebody else have idea what its can be. CPU problems Graphics problems or photoshop bag.
Hope for answer
thank you

If the application is crashing on GPU intensive filters and not those that only use the CPU then that would indicate a possible driver issue. Did the issue start after an update to macOS or any other change you may have done?
