procreate layer issues in photoshop cc

I keep sending layered files to photoshop cc from my ipad procreate app. previously in cs6 the exact same file would of allowed me to auto select only the layers I wished to use but now it will select every layer in the file despite only dragging my move curser over a few layers. It very frustrating and only occurs when opening my procreate files not other files created in photoshop but will still occur if I drag procreate layers to a new document. Its super annoying can anyone help? Have I got something set wrong?

when swiping to the left I don’t have the select layer option????

Are you using the same tool and option in CC as you used in CS6 to select the layers you wish to use.  What is different about Procreate created layers in documents compared to Photoshop created layers.  Why do Photoshop created layer work and procreate created layers work differently.  Are there many transparent areas in your procreate layers.  Auto select  may be selecting lower layer if there are transparent areas in upper layers.  Do you have CC and CS6 installed in you creative cloud subscription like I do.  If so have you tested files you sent from Procreate in CS6 and CC that you are having problems with or do you now only have CC installed? I don't remenber any big difference is CS6 and CC Auto layer select. The defaul was changed I believe to be Auto select on for the move tool in cc 2017.

I am using the same tool and options in CC as CS6. The layers appear to be the same as before. No transparency layers and the background layer I lock so that it doesn't move. I don't have cc and cs6 installed but will try and do that now to see if it works on the older version. I played around with the autoselect buttons and also the layers drop downs in the layers palette but with not effect.
