PS brushes problem: brush strokes color is a lot lighter than expected

Hi everybody.

I have installed some new photoshop brushes.

This is how they should like:

This is how they look on my photoshop:

 

Why is this happening?

Hi there,

 

Sorry that you brush strokes in Photoshop are looking lighter in color while drawing with new brushes you installed.

 

Which version of Photoshop are you using and what is your operating system? Which brush pack have you installed?

 

Have you tried using the default Photoshop brushes and do they also show such difference? Please note a difference in color space of display will have different output. Also, it might be possible that what you are seeing is due to viewing the image at more than 100% magnification. Photoshop only gives an accurate view at 100%, which you can get by Double-clicking on the Zoom tool.
