PS started rendering smart filters when switching between layer comps

Hi,

I am using newest version of PS and I do not recall this behavour before.

I have an image with several smart objects which I applied the smart sharpen filter to each of them.

Each smart object is shown on a different layer comp.

In the past when i switched between layercoms it was done very fast but now, every time I select a different layer comp i get a message that PS is rendering smart filters and that takes quite some time.

I have several smart objects, and it seems to render all of them everytime I selec a different layercomp.

Why???

Is this intentional?

I can reproduce your problem. When creating Layer Comp uncheck Layer Comp Selection For Smart Objects or double click on the right side of comp name in the Layer Comps panel to display Layer Comps Options dialogue then uncheck mentioned option to stop seeing mesage and delay to render filter.

This islves it!

Is this supposed to be like this?

I'm aware of this new feature  but should it render even if the smartobject was not chnaged?

When i simply show/hide the smart objects with the applied filters it shows /hides them immidiatly without the need to render them again.
