"This gradient file is bad or corrupted"

WHY!? Need a fix now. Sick of seeing this every time I open Photoshop. 
Why I get a corrupted file from your own install?
This came out after some of your "updates"

This is a user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far? 

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Are there any custom grd-files in the user-Gradients-Folder?
