raw photos [Unable to open Canon 6D Mark II Raw files in CS6]

I just purchased a canon 6d mark II. Photoshop cs6  won't import raw CR2 pictures.  I've downloaded camera raw 9.1.1.461. Even still doesn't download.  My Canon 6d raw pictures downloaded fine. I have Mac OS Mojave. please help

New camera? Expect to get new apps. CS6 is no longer what you need.

The 6D Mark II was first supported in Camera Raw 9.12 (nine point twelve). That's 11 versions later than 9.1.1.

Cameras supported by Camera Raw

(The 6D has been supported since Camera Raw 7.3 so CS6 can open those Raw files with no issues).

The last version of Camera Raw to support CS6 was 9.1.1. There are no Camera Raw updates for CS6 beyond that.

You've got a couple of options:

1. Join the Cloud and get the latest version of Photoshop CC. Then you can open your Raw files directly in Photoshop CC, or
2. FREE OPTION: Download the free Adobe DNG converter and convert all Raw CR2 files from your camera to DNG format. Then open the converted DNG files (not the Raw files) in CS6. An extra step for you but no extra cost.
