It appears pen pressure on my wacom cintiq win 10 cc21.1 is broken (again) whenever i switch on actions to record a number of strokes. Switching recording off again the pen pressure on my wacom works fine. Photoshop 20.08 has an interesting variation on this. Pen pressure stays active when i record any actions with my wacom pen, only to find photoshop does not record any actions. It used to work a few weeks ago. Latest drivers and win updates installed. ...

In illustrator cc24.1.1 pressure works with th eblob brush tool on my wacom win 10. Start recording actions does not break the pressure stroke width function of the blob brush but the recording icon does not turn bright red and the action is not recorded.

F Y I these suggestions did not provide any solution either:

Could you please try the steps below?

  • Try enabling "Legacy compositing" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop and let us know if it helps?
  • If that does not help then, try deselecting "Use Graphics Processor" located in Photoshop's Preferences > Performance, then relaunch Photoshop.
  • First, make sure that the driver is installed, and that your tablet is connected correctly to the computer.
  • Update the tablet driver from manufacturer's website.
  • Reset the driver preferences to ensure that a specific setting isn’t causing your pen issues.
  • Next, try to test the pen in a different software.
