Removing Deep Wrinkles in laser-cut leather

Does anyone know how to remove creases from the side of this bag without altering the pattern? I have tried liquify and it didnt work.

Not THE solution but may helps…

Select and duplicate the side of the bag on its own layer

Convert to Smart object

Apply Camera Raw filter

Downgrade textures and clarity

Add a little contrast…

Maybe also reduce noise…

You could also do that on the whole bag in order to preserve colors…

A result no the miracle but you will tell… By the way nice bag!
