I am using Photoshop CS6 Extended, Image Mode is RGB, Brush is Normal;  when I start drawing lines are gray instead of black. If I draw circle using elliptical marquee tool and fill-- the color is black?

Correct answer c.pfaffenbichler

Your brush opacity is set to 35% which will look grey unless you use several strokes over the top of each other.

And the Flow is at 50%.

If you want fully black lines right away also set that to 100%.

Hitting 0 (zero) and shift-0 should set both values to 100%.

Hi Lucien

You should just be able to go to one of the posts and Press the Correct Answer button. The button will change , allowing you to unmark it if required.

Thanks Dave. I did just that but the topic was still showing Not Answered. Probably just a delay at my end. Lucie

Good day!

Could you please post a screenshot taken at View > 100% and with the pertinent Panels (Layers, Channels, Options Bar, …) visible?

What are the Brush Tool’s settings (see Options Bar and Brush Panel)?

Regards,

Pfaffenbichler

I tried opening New/Blackground, duplicating layer and filling with white--then drawing and had same results?
