separate selected areas into layers

I selected several sprites and want to move each one to a new layer, as shown in the second image

how can i do this?

Select each sprite, and Layer > New > Layer Via Cut [Shift+Control+J].

that will put all sprites in one new layer. i want it to do this, put each selected area to new layers. look at second image.
so basically, how can i go from that first image to the second one?

You could make a new document to the same size and dpi and move each one over to it one by one. Each would then be on its own separate layer.

well point of this post was to find out if i can avoid that. i have other sprite sheets that have a like 80 sprites and to move them one by one to new layers would be really time consuming.  is there no other way?

Select each sprite, then Edit>Cut>Paste. Each time you do that, it makes a new layer..

i don't think you understand
with magic wand i click on empty area

then i inverse that selection so every sprite is selected

and now what i want is to have each sprite in it's own layer
i dont want multiple sprite in one layer
each sprite needs to be in it's own layer

I'm sure the script is very efficient, but there's really no need. There is an "intersect" option in all selection tools. So if you have them all selected, make a loose lasso around the one you want and...cut/paste. Done, there it is on a new layer.

you don't get it. i want to do that for every sprite, but at the same time and not one by one.
