Spot healing brush does not work in the latest download

The spot healing brush does not work in the in the latest download...I belong to several digital scrapbooking sites and everyone is complaining about this.  I finally uninstalled the current version and went back to the older version...No problems now the previous verion.

I assume you're referring to Photoshop version 21.2.1, if that's the case what exactly is not working about it, the more detailed information you supply the easier it is for someone to help.

I'm not seeing any issues with the spot healing brush tool, running Windows 10, PS version 21.2.1

Yes, version 21.2.1   Apparently it is only a problem on Mac's with catalina installed.  This is the message I got.......Could not use the spot healing brush because there are not enough source pixels on the selected layer.  Several people in my digital scrapbooking sites were having the smae problem.   I went to the communites for help.  One person said you had to go into libraries and change the name of some folder.  I just uninstalled that version and went to the previous version.  It works fine now.
