Stack Median Mode question

When I use scripts / stack and open several images to eliminate people / moving objects, I follow the step as instructed and get weird results.as you can see, the items that have move are not eliminated, just made transparent. Any suggestions? Have done this process manually and with statistics in scripts, I have used median and mean modes with the same results. I am only using 2 images - could that be the problem, I need more images?

Hi

Yes 2 is too few for those stack modes.

You could however, with the layers aligned, add a mask and brush so that you get what you need from each layer.
