Stray Pixels in Photoshop CS6

I'm running CS6 on a Mac using High Sierra (v10.13.3). I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with stray pixels showing up. Selecting the move tool can make the pixels go away, but they invariably reappear. Any tips about workarounds would be much appreciated.

    That looks like a GPU issue. Does going to Preferences >Performance and temporarily unchecking "Use Graphice Processor" resolve the issue (you will need to restart Photoshop) ?

    If it does take a look at your GPU driver and see if a newer version is available or, if it just started with a recent update, an older version.
