Text Highlighted causes inverting issues

So, I was highlighting text and all of a sudden this started happening.

It inverts the colors and I don't like this! How do I fix it?

That happens when you have the text selected. Change to the move tool and click somewhere else in the image to deselect.

Is there any way to turn it off? I want to be able to see the text how it is, not just inverted. I don't want to deselect it.

Not that I'm aware of... I just did a test. Clicking at the end of the line of text will deselect then CTL/CMD + A will quickly reselect all of your text.

I don't believe there is a way to prevent that when first highlighting text, but afterwards one can press Cmd or Ctrl+H to hide the inversion till you complete editing the text.
