The directory name is invalid

Hello!

So whenever I try to open any psd file, something along the lines of "This directory name is invalid". As long as I do "open with" and then "photoshop" it works, but it bothersome having to do that every time I want to open a photosgop file. Thanks to anyone who can help me fix this

Have you tried resetting your photoshop prefs?

The only similar solution I found was resetting your prefs or trying this:

Okay so what worked for me was this...since Adobe has shut down Adobe Cloud Synch the file structure is no longer network accessible and can only be accessed locally. The file path before they shut down the cloud was Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID).  All you have to do is rename the file path, remove the "@" symbol, the "+" symbols and rename the file path to something simple.  You can see the file path by right clicking the folder and selecting properties.
