Question

The serial number of Adobe Photoshop files

Hello, I am a user who is using Adobe's programs well.

I have a question while using Adobe Photoshop.

As I wrote in the title, I wonder if there is a serial number of individual photoshop files.

As an example of the serial number mentioned here, I wonder if it is possible to check if it has been duplicated when copying someone else's photoshop file.

If you can check it, please let me know how you can check it.

I'll be waiting for the reply. Thank you.

Metadata can be removed, so there is no foolproof method that I know of directly in Photoshop. If metadata is intact look in File / File Info - Raw Data:

<xmpMM:InstanceID>xmp.iid:51dd2613-2491-413f-a8dc-0a26d90ed281</xmpMM:InstanceID>

<xmpMM:DocumentID>xmp.did:51dd2613-2491-413f-a8dc-0a26d90ed281</xmpMM:DocumentID>

<xmpMM:OriginalDocumentID>xmp.did:51dd2613-2491-413f-a8dc-0a26d90ed281</xmpMM:OriginalDocumentID>

<stEvt:instanceID>xmp.iid:51dd2613-2491-413f-a8dc-0a26d90ed281</stEvt:instanceID>

This has been part of the issue with the whole photoshop:DocumentAncestors saga:
