This bar comes undocked once in a while and I forget how to re-dock it. I don't know its name

It's called the Options bar, and you dock it by dragging it by the left edge towards the menu bar.

When a blue line appears, release it.

Thanks.  I know about the blue line. Sometimes I can get it, other times not.  After your assurance that was the way I kept trying until the blue like appeared.
