Trying to Install Photoshop CS4 from CD Rom onto Windows 10

Hi, I just bought a new computer running Windows 10, and I am trying to install my older Photoshop CS4 onto it. When I put it in the DVD Drive and try to click on it, it says, "File Access Denied". Does anyone know why this would happen? I can probably download it and install that way, but I am wanting to make sure there is nothing wrong with the computer. I tried telling HP support and they said that it is just a disc issue, as other things have opened up fine. Is CS4 just not supported on Windows 10? Thanks.

That could mean many things-after 8 years the DVD may have become corrupted, it could be dirty and just need cleaning or if the DVD drive is also 8 years old it may be showing it's age. I don't however think Windows 10 minds how old a disk is, Many people don't have optical readers any longer as they are just not necessary. If you need a download link for CS4 try this one.

I am having the same problem. I clicked on this link and it's all about Creative Cloud. CS4 precedes CC, right? Can you (or someone) indicate what to click on on that page? My installation seems to complete but after all is installed it says there's an error and to try closing all windows and be sure firewalls are disabled. I did that and got the same result. (It does accept my serial number.)
