Using Autocad .pat files in photoshop?

I have lot of hatch patterns for autocad. I want to use them in Photoshop. While trying to load the pat file, photoshop says that it is bad or corrupted. On the contrary, they work pretty fine in Autocad. What's the solution to this? I am using Autocad 2017, and Photoshop cc 2017

There is no solution other than to re-create them in PS. ACAD patterns are parametric definitions, not actual pixel images (though pixel data can be included as per the DWG/ DWF/ DXF specifications).
