Using Creative cloud offline

Hi. I have always had the downloaded version of Photoshop and am now switching my systems and plan to get the creative cloud. I have been told it does not work unless I have an internet connection. Now most places I work does to have connectivity. Does CC have a downloadable version which gets update as soon as I come back to civilisation. Idea is to work off line.

Thank You

To expand on D Fosse's response; the software is downloaded onto your internal drive. You will see this when checking your applications folder.

The software checks the license status once every 30 days. That's the only time it needs to go online.

If it doesn't connect, it will still work for up to 99 days before it shuts down. You'll get on-screen reminders if it goes that far. Then all you need to do is connect once.

In other words, you can work offline for up to three months and some days.
