Wacom Art Pen Brush Rotation/Tilt Stops After Each Stroke

Community Beginner ,

running into the problem where my brush cursor stops rotating secods after putting a mark down. Everything seems to work fine with windows ink on but when i make a PsUserConfig file with the command UseSystemStylus 0 i get this problem. Brush rotation is unsuable without being able to see your brush orientation and cant figure out why it stops rotating seconds after a mark is put down. I have tried many different ways to try to fix the problem including reseting wacom prefrences and uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. Please Help!!

I have inserted a video demonstrating and explaining my problem where i am constantly rotating the barrel and Photoshop does not recognize the barrel rotation until the stylus is in contact with the tablet.

Wacom Art Pen Brush Rotation Stops After Each Stroke

If you did not have the problem in the past what has changed. Did you update Wacom software Photoshop software. You seem to have the problem with painter also.  Try older Wacom Drivers.

I only have a normal Wacom Pen.   I have always used Wintab because I have some old version of Photoshop installed and they only have Wintab Support Adobe does not update old software to support new system interfaces.  My Pen only supports tilt not rotation.  I tired using tilt. But always found it flaky with how the cursor would change. Tilt works while drawing but the cursor does not change rotation  or shape. Only when the pen is closet to the surface of the tablet does the cursor seem to sync with tilt.    I'm not a Painter I never use tilt and none of the brushes Adobe supply seen to have pen tilt control set in set on by default to control any Pen dynamics.

Some of the natural media brushes seem to use tilt.  I Do use INK so I do know if INK works better with brush tip.  I'll try INK in CC 2019.

Like I wrote I do not have a  Wacom ART Pen just a normal pen.  I do not use tilt but Adobe natural media brushes seem the have to programmed into the Brush engine enable for those brushes.   I can not write I see a difference between control via Wintab or INK.   The  brush overlay graphic over the image and the brush cursor tip changes when the pen tilts and the pen tip is near the tablets surface. Once the pen tip touches the surface of the tablet the cursor shape no longer changes shape or rotation.  The Brush graphic overlay still continues to animate with pen tilt and the stroke laid down does change with tilt.  I'm not a painter and will never buy an Art pen I'll buy wine with that money. The Wacom driver I have install is

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to reply i appreciate it greatly. From the way you described it sounds like the tilt doesn't work without windows ink properly, i had sworn i had got it to work without windows ink but i must have been wrong or there is a hidden bug. either way i appreciate the response.

I also use the Art pen. If Use windows ink is checked it turns off the live preview of the brush angle rotation. This means that we cannot see which angle the brush is pointing before we paint. This is an issue and made worse by the new version of Photoshop 21.1 which has problems with the PSUserConfig file. I have lost days of work trying to solve this.

I have the exact same issue recently, though I'm not using the Art pen (I set brush angle to Tilt). This is incredibly frustrating, is there any way to get it to work again? I've tried Ink on and off. All programs/drivers up to date.

LATEST
It seems the most recent update to Photoshop, 21.1, is problematic. For
now, Adobe advises us to use the previous version, 21.0.3 while they are
fixing the problem.

I found the solution to brush angle was to roll back Photoshop to previous version.  Too bad.
