Wacom compatibility issues with new Photoshop 2020

Just recently bought a new Wacom pro downloaded the new drivers etc I have been setting up quick keys and functions keys for Photoshop and Illustrator. I have also just updated Photoshop to the new 2020 version as some of the updates would really help my workflow. But I have now discovered there are compatibility issues with the new version of Photoshop and the Wacom pro.  When setting up ExpressKey settings or pen settings the new Photoshop2020 does not recognise the Wacom Pro but the 2019 version does.

Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?

This works for 2019 and 2020 photoshop and Intous 5 and windows 10 ............

creat a txt file named "PSUserConfig.txt" in that write one line "UseSystemStylus 0"

Save it on your systeme here:

C:\Users\(YOUR NAME)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Adobe Photoshop 2020 Settings

Restart Photoshop

And be sure to thank these guys:

Same here, Intuos pro, Mac Mojave, I removed all Wacom related files to do a fresh installation with the latest driver but that doesn't help.

Ditto here - rocker button function is not working properly for me. Backward as right-click (default behaviour) is ok, but the foreward click does not work at all.  Still works fine in 2019. Latest drivers etc etc.

I have not install the latest Wacom driver I'm still on

That drivers on windows seems to be working with all the versions of Photoshop I have installed. CS3, CS6, CC 2014, CC 2018, CC 2019 and 2020. I have configured my Wacom pro to use Wintab with Photoshop for old versions of Photoshop only have WinTab support and I have configured the newer version of Photoshop the can support pens via Microsoft INK APIs to use WinTab APIs instead.

I reverted back to  version 21.0.3 Adobe broke other things besides Wintab support in the 21.1 update like Actions with Save As steps.

I'm glad Windows is working, still having issues with Mac and new Photoshop. Ive tried reinstalling the app but still have the same problem. Maybe need to check with the Wacom community and see if anyone has answers. Could be we need a new driver?!

Thanks

I'm also having issues with the new Photoshop 2020, besides it turning all of my custom brushes into tools. The brush tool is not taking input from my Cintiq Pro. Works fine with the mouse but won't produce anything with the Wacom pen. Yet all of the other tools seem to work with the Wacom pen, at least the ones I've tried so far, like the pencil tool and lasso tool. I haven't found any answers yet. Looking to see if there is some way to install the old version of photoshop back onto my system so I can get my work done.

I am having the same problem with Intuous Pro L tablet even with the latest driver 6.3.37-3.  Having this issue since upgrading my MAC OS to Catalina (10.15), have raised this with Wacom as well about 2 weeks ago and yet to get a response.  I feel handicapped without the functionality of my pengrip,  Any command requiring brush size does not function properly both in terms of size and pressure (Brush tool, Clon Stamping, Spot healing etc. ).

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi, I tried to remove photoshop completely  and reinstall but this doesn't help either (I'm still on Mojave). That said, tablet and pen work fine (pressure too) but Photoshop 2020 is the only application the tablet ignore, Photoshop picks up the default configuration.

As a workaround I made my Photoshop specific configuration as base (application > other) and have the specific configurations for the other apps I use.
