Wacom settings with PS2021 and Anastasiy's Magic Picker

Explorer ,
Dec 07, 2020 Dec 07, 2020

I can't get to drag the cursor inside the picker. This issue only affects PS 2021. I can click and drag cursor in PS native picker.  I tried turning off Windows Ink in Wacom settings and set up config text file per various tutorials, still have issues with cursor in Magic Picker.  I contacted the dev but he told me to look in Adobe forums after his solution (mentioned above) didn't work.

thanks

Hi

If you have updated your panels as directed from their site, then click the "Support" button in the menu bar at the top of their page:

Hello

I have been corresponding with them.  But the final correspondence basically refered me to here.

This is their latest reply:

"Unfortunately it's a very complicated problem that differs from one computer to another. It differs with Photoshop version and Wacom driver version during past 15 years. It's quite rare (we have only dozens of reports from clients during all these years). And it's different all the time. You can check out Adobe forums where people experience it all the time with native and non-native Photoshop panels.
We never were able to reproduce it on our end so I don't know the exact steps to fix it. But what usually can help is:
1) The forementioned tutorial - it usually helps to solve the problem in 99% of the cases. I'm surprised you lost the pen pressure, usually it doesn't happen if you followed the steps exactly.
Can you please re-check? The file's name should be "**PSUserConfig.txt"** and you need to restart afterwards.
2) Switching Wacom drivers to ver6.3.37-3 - some users reported that helped a lot
3) Also can you please try running Adobe's native Color Themes? Window -> Extensions -> Adobe Color Themes. Do you experience the problem in there?"

I tried Color Themes and the cursor works fine with it.  But for some reason Magic Picker is giving me issues.

I don't use a Wacom, but I think you don't have to use the "PSUserConfig.txt" file with the newer releases of Photoshop. I've renamed your subject line to include the Wacom settings so another volunteer might catch your thread.

Thanks.  I am actually trying to figure out if the issue is Wacom, Photoshop or the plugin.
