Where's my canvas? Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Canvas Missing/Blank

Hi everyone!

 

I've just gotten a new laptop (HP Elitebook) and downloaded the latest version of PS CC 2018. However, when I open an image or a PS file, the canvas is entirely blank. I can see always the layers to the right and the file name tab above but there's nothing visible in the canvas work space.

 

Does anyone know what is going on or how to fix it? Thanks!!!

Correct answer

This is usually caused by an issue with your GPU driver, try updating the GPU driver from the manufacturers website.
