Why can't a purchased Photoshop CD be re-registered online after computer crashed? Installs only as a 30-day trial, but I paid for it!

Just got new computer BUT I CANNOT RE-REGISTER Photoshop CS5.5 online, and cannot contact Adobe except by this venue. It installs as a TRIAL only! I paid for it!

The serial number has no letters.

You may have a redemption code, which can only be used once to get a serial number.

See here to find the serial number:

CS5.5 has reached it's end-of-life cycle.  I don't think registration will do you much good since it's no longer supported or updated.

The question is can you activate it with your serial number?

What happens when you hit "License this product?"

    Hi Nancy,

When I try to enter the serial number, the length of the SN is too short

for the online form, i.e., there are too many boxes, 6 of them, for

[Moderator removed serial number] (only needs 4 boxes of 4 digits each). And it won't

accept the letters at the beginning of the SN, STAMW1. So it doesn't

accept my SN and will only let me use the program for a trial of 30

days. And the countdown is on. If my computer hadn't been ruined by the

storm power surges, I would still be able to use the Adobe Master

Creative Suite 5.5 that I purchased. I appreciate your help.

    Thanks,

    Donna

    Donna,

Just so you understand, this is a public user-to-user forum.  I don't work for Adobe but as a forum moderator, I removed your license key from the above post.  Please don't post personal information on a public forum.

I think you may have purchased your software from a re-seller.  Does that sound right?

Do you remember how and from whom you obtained your product?

Also, was this an upgrade from an older version?

    Or a Student/Teacher version?

Do you get any errors or anything when you try to register it?
