Will Ryzen 5 or 7 work with photoshop?

Hi! 
I am about to upgrade my very old laptop, Lenovo 50-70 with a fourth generation i5 1,7 Ghz and a very basic Radeon card. It works barely with lots of patience. I understand that a desktop is to prefer, but as a hobby user it will need to be a laptop to find the time and situation for working with it. Now I find my self in big trouble to find a suitable specification setup without overkill spending too much money. My main question is if Ryzen work well with Photoshop (and Camera Raw and Lightroom)? Also, were are money best spent? On the processor, RAM or graphic card? Or something else?
