Why would you guys take away the earthquake effect in the 2023 version. Does element use plugins at all or is camera shaking in videos so 2021?

This is a user-to-user forum. Not Adobe. None of us took away the earthquake effect, and many of us share your frustration.

But Adobe did choose to remove some plug-ins and streamline the program this time out. You can contact them here via chat and even demand a refund if you're unhappy with your purchase:  https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/what-contact-options.html

earthquake was a third-party NewBlue effect and its no-longer supporting upgraded Premiere Elements code and new platforms. So they could not make it on Elements 2023

I think it would be okay to admit it was a cost-saving measure, Amit. The NewBlue effects work fine on Windows 11 and 10, as testified by the fact that those running version 2022 have had no problems using them.
