Premiere Elements

I’ve been regularly compiling short video clips into approx. 10 min videos using Premiere Elements 2025 (and ver 2022 before that).  The source of the clips is varied, typically from trail cameras (1080 x 1920 @ 30fps or 1296 x 2304 @ 20fps ), occasionally from a pixel phone (sometimes 1080 @ 30fps, sometimes 4k @ 60fps), a Nikon Z8 (4k @60fps).I normally drop in a 1080 x 1920 @ 30fps clip to set the sequence setting before dragging in the remaining clips.  I usually output to 1080 or 720 at 30fps.  Been doing this for years without issue.  Something has changed.  Starting a few days ago numerous, but not all, clips are very blurry in the preview window.  Rendering does not help.  If I export, the blur remains as in preview. Premiere 2025, Win 11, Dell 3030, NIVIDA GeForce RTX 3050Adding a single clip usually results in a clear preview, adding multiple clips results in numerous blurry clips but not all from the same camera or same settings (properties).  Interestingly, sometimes a blur

My Premiere Elements 15 won't start anymore. It says the serial number is no longer valid and that I need to have it reactivated by support.But “Contact Support” link from the error message doesn’t take me to an email form or anything like that—it just leads to a generic support page.How do I contact support?How can I reset or reactivate my serial number?What’s all this nonsense anyway? I bought the program legitimately 9 years ago and I don’t think I’ve ever uninstalled it—it’s gone through all the Windows updates, and now it just doesn’t work anymore???

I want to omit the blank period at the beginning and end of text that I’ve added to a video (Default Roll) and have found instructions that tell me: Using ‘Expert’, go to the main programme, select Text > Roll / Crawl options, then uncheck the ‘Start off’ and ‘End off’ and adjust to 0 frames. That doesn’t work as there are no Roll / Crawl options available that I can find anywhere. What is going wrong here? 

Hello all.    I was able to offline activate my old photoshop elements 12 on my windows 10 laptop so i thought maybe i should get a version of premiere elements that will work with my laptop specs since it cant handle any of the new software.  So i went and got Premiere elements 14 and photoshop elements 14 from ebay (i know dumb idea).  the seller said it was new and sealed so i gave it a shot. i registered the serial number for premiere elements 14 and it went thru ok.  when i tried to do offline activation i get the serial number has been revoked when i try to get the request/response code to offline activate.    is there a way around this or is it still possible to transfer a serial number or license that will make this work even if i have to pay adobe a fee?   I was able to offline activate photoshop elements 12 so im sure i will be able to offline activate premiere elements 12 for my windows 10 laptop if i have to.  i was hoping to actually put premiere elements 12 and photoshop

I am going to create a highlight reel but after click create button, the below meassage"detecting scenes with group of people and detecting scenes with interesting light and...."appears with out end.

Has anyone had Premiere Elements 2025 out right delete one of their video files?  I imported a single clip, was going to trim excess, and export about a 8 second clip.  Made it to export, names the file, and off to the races… or not.  After a few moments, a large Adobe error box popped up (wish I would have screen shotted it now).  Closed the box.  The file preview in the Project Assets panel showed broken.  Went to Windows Explorer, and the original file was GONE.  Completely gone.  Not in the recycle bin at all, and nowhere on the drive.  GONE.  Fortunately, this file wasn’t super important… but it could have been.  It had not yet been backed up because it was a test, but it now has me concerned that PE could do this to any of my files.  Has anyone had this happen?

Hello.  I bought premiere elements 12 years ago and decided to install it onto my windows 10 laptop tonight.   When I open premiere elements 12 up and says i have 7 days to sign in.  I try to do the qr code thing but it goes back round into the sign in loop.  I try to paste url into webpage and get same result. I am stuck in a loop where I have to sign in but it never signs in and returns to the loop.   I bought premiere elements 12 and would like to use it ????   anyone know how to solve this issue?   thanks

Prem Elem 2026 when I highlight single line text with no current animation the Adjustment box containing Text, Style, Animation & Shapes does not appear. I want to add a Preset text animation. Where are the Text Animation Presets ?

I am making a video project in the latest version of Premiere Elements: Adobe Premiere Elements 2026. I am wanting to add credits to the end of my video. I have been using Premiere Elements for many years and have always found different credits options in the titles menu. It appears to me that these credits templates are no longer available in the 2026 version. This is extremely frustrating to me as something I've relied on for many years has now disappeared. I'm starting to regret updating to this version of Premiere Elements. Please let me know if there's another way to make scrolling credits in the project. The "roll" checkbox does not appear in the text editing window since I'm not using the Pro version. 

On Mac Adobe Premiere Elements 2026 only: App opens in light mode after setting it to dark mode and closing down the program and restarting.Does not happen with Windows Premiere Elements 2026, Windows Photoshop Elements 2026. or Mac Photoshop Elements 2026.Running Tahoe 26.5.1Appreciate any help. The following only happens on the Mac Version of  Adobe Premiere Elements 2026 only:  I set preference to dark mode, but upon reopening the app it is always back in light mode.Windows versions of Premiere Elements 2026 & Photoshop Elements 2026 as well as the Mac version of Photoshop Elements 2026  do not exhibit this behavior.Running Tahoe 26.5.1Appreciate any help. Hello, after laptop reset I just reinstalled premiere elements I purchased in 2014. Installation is OK but at software launch I have an Adobe popup message that requests to sign in. Sign-in is OK and detected but afer the popup disappear, nothing happens. The software never launch.I don't remember I had to sign-in when I used it before reinstallation.Any idea ?   

I’m installing my existing software on a new device. Photoshop Elements 2022 installed and activated without issues, but Premiere Elements wouldn’t bring up the option to enter an activation code. It just went straight to “install from DVD” or “start trial”. I’ve gone through all the steps the chatbot suggests, and of course I can’t access live chat because I bought my software prior to monthly subscription becoming mandatory. I have a feeling I know what the answer is and that it’s “Adobe has made it mandatory to use a newer version so you can be strongarmed into paying a monthly subscription”, in which case it’s time for me to go and find other software because I won’t be doing that, but in case there’s something I’ve missed - is there a way for me to activate the software I bought and paid for and know how to use? Am I obliged to keep my old device solely in order to use Premiere Elements on it? 

why cant I delete content in elements organizer? it has 3 disused videos and about 9 folder icons with question marks in them

I organize my images by year taken folders, then date-event folders.. I import my images from my camera’s SD card plugged into my Windows 11 system. When I import them I set the location to my main image location and subfolders: E:\Pictures\<year>\<Shot date>Then, if needed I move the images into dates-event folder, say, 2024-Grand Canyon. Which may be a multi-day trip.I’m pretty sure if I didn’t move them, PSE would find ones I already imported. But because I moved them to different folders, if I again import from the same SD card to import newer images, PSE doesn’t find the older ones as duplicates.Is there a way to enable PSE 2022 to find these moved duplicates? Or am I limited to deselecting the already imported images in the import dialog.

In Premiere Elements 2024 for Windows, how I can insert a videoclip betweenother two without overlapping.I have tried two methods, but both failed :  I drag and drop the videoclip into the desired position while I keep pressed the Control  key  or  Control+Shift  

can someone please help me i have to verify my email but im not receiving a verification email? I cannot connect to any of my social platforms until the email has been verified, I dont know where the email is going but its not coming to me. please help.

I have PE 2022 in Windows 11 (Edition Windows 11 Home, Version 24H2, Installed on ‎11/‎21/‎2024OS build 26100.4946, Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.197.0) - the latest vesrsion.Desktop: Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700 (2.10 GHz),  Installed RAM 64.0 GB (61.7 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor.  Display adapters: Intel (R) UHD Graphics 770 Driver date 1/23/2025. Dell U2414H Monitor.Sometimes when I start playing a clip in a project I hear short beep and the screen frezees. The desktop becomes totally disabled. I can't even open Task manager to close PE. I have to turn off PC. When I turn it on I have a blue screen where I have to enter a bitlocker key to proceed. After I login I see multiple black screens coming and go. I usually restart computer (sometimes a couple of times) to get it back to normal. Then I load PE project again and every time I am not sure if I can work on the project for some time....I

A blue underline shows up under Project Assets but panel doesn't open. Tried the following: restart app, run as administrator, toggled between Quick View and Expert, Reset Application Data Folder by changing 24.0 to24.0.old, updated Nvidia driver, disabled hardware acceleration, cleared cache files, hovered with mouse and didn't find double arrows to expand  panel, even re-installed Premiere Elements 2024. Got to open the panel after install but once I loaded any of the projects made before, the panel doesn't open. What to try next? Thanks in advance.

Je travaille dessus pour montage vidéos dans première elements 2026 et d’un coup, le projet ne se charge plus .message : “impossible de charger le projet. celui-ci est sans doute endommagé ou contient des éléments obsolètes” ???? pas moyen de le récupérer. j’ai retéléchargé Première sans succès.au secours !!!merci Hélène

Hi everyone,I am experiencing a frustrating issue with Adobe Premiere Elements 2026 where my custom keyboard shortcuts are not being saved. Specifically, I am trying to change the Zoom In and Zoom Out shortcuts, as the default "=" and "-" keys are very inconvenient on my regional keyboard layout (Slovenian).Here is what I have tried so far, but without success: Created a New Preset: I used "Save As" to create a new custom shortcut preset. Admin Privileges: I ran the program as an Administrator to ensure it has permission to write to the disk. Folder Permissions: I checked the AppData Roaming folder and disabled "Read-only" mode for the Adobe preferences folder. Despite these steps, every time I close and reopen the project or restart the application, the shortcuts revert to the default settings or disappear entirely. It seems like the program is unable to consistently load the custom .kys file.Is this a known bug in recent versions, or is there a specific workaround to "force" the

Ultimately, it seems that Adobe is trying to standardize its business model so that all its users are subscribers, regardless of whether they’re Hollywood editors or just someone who wants to add nice titles and effects to their 1080p videos. In Premiere Pro, the subscription is just another corporate expense, inherent to the company’s operations. In the consumer version of the program, that expense may be harder for the user to justify.. Sorry, my final verdict on this change in Adobe’s policy is clearly a thumbs-down.

 I want to report a  design issue in Premiere Elements 2024 that occurs when creating a New Project.The Problem: In the "New Project" dialog, the preset box only displays 16:9 - 1920x1080Since these values match most users' needs, they are accepted immediately. However, the interface hides the most critical information: the frame rate  (29.97 fps ) It is very easy for a user to overlook that this is actually a dropdown menu. By accepting the visible values, they unknowingly agree to a 29.97 fps project, which is incorrect for those of us filming at 25 fps (the standard in Europe). Because Premiere Elements doesn't allow copying tracks between projects with different frame rates, this lack of transparency at the very start of the workflow forced me to restart hours of work from scratch.The Suggestion:Please, make the Frame Rate visible at first glance in the New Project window so users don't unknowingly accept an incorrect default. I urge you to take this into account for future version

No sound on Macbook Pro 2020 M1 with MontereyPremiere Elements 2022 does not play the sound. The audio level can be seen in the audio mixer, but the sound is neither passed on to the internal speakers nor to an HDMI device.The sound of the integrated sound files cannot be heard either.have played through all options under settings audio devices and no success.even deleting and reinstalling with a new path do not help.Sound output of all other programs on the Macbook will work, just not Premiere.The strange thing is that the audio mixer in Premiere shows the level, so it fails to transfer the sound to the OS Macbooks.Everything works on an identical Macbook with OS Big Sur

I'm using Premiere Elements 2024 on Windows 11.In the Premiere timeline, I have these overlapping tracks from bottom to top: Track 1: video clipTrack 2: geometric shape (JPG file)Track 3: line of text created with Premiere I find it difficult to select the elements corresponding to tracks 2 and 3 in the Premiere preview window using the mouse.How can I make the selection process smoother?
