I simply wish to edit a video and then render it WITHOUT it having a black frame.

I have Prem Elem 15 but rarely use it because of the above problem. I wish to replace/upgrade my Adobe Photo/Prem Elements but must be able to SIMPLY edit a video and render it keeping the same size/format/etc as the original! (today i have to resort to a Snagit grab inside the added frame!). Will the latest level software help me???   Peter.

The issue is that there is a mismatch between your project and the specs of your video.

1. Under the Edit menu, what is listed on the General page under Project Settings?

2. Open our original video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text in this report and paste it to this forum.

Once we know your project settings and your complete video specs we'll be able to tell you how best to proceed.
