Cannot Edit text in Quick Edit

Was 3/4 of the way through a picture compilation with static text titles when I suddenly could not edit in Quick Edit? 

Unable to figure out how to get back Quick Edit ability for text, nor can I extend the length of time the text stays on the picture ...

Your screen shot does not show what is on the timeline.   Can you do another screen shot showing the timeline?

I much prefer Expert because there is more flexibility.   What happens when you switch to Expert?

Pictures are on the timeline.  I have made several sports team photo compilations with text descriptions and music yet it is now showing an error of sorts in Quick Edit. 

Directs me to edit in Expert mode where for the life of me I cannot figure out how to extend the length of time the text stays on the photo nor control text fade in / fade out.

The tan line along the top of your timeline indicates that you have video and/or titles on an upper track which are not available to edit in Quick View.

You'll need to switch back to Expert View to edit these elements.
