Question

Cannot export my video to YouTube

I have a music video which is 4 minutes and 2 seconds long. I've been trying to export it to YouTube but it never works. Either it acts like it is going to work and trudges along but never gets more than 10 minutes into the export. Or, when I go to YouTube first, I'm told that my video isn't the right format? And there is no way that I can find to save my video as anything else than Premiere Elements?

Do you have any recommendations?

Your music is on the Music track which is normally used for the music generated by Premiere Elements' internal system.  I don't know why, but music from any other source will often work better when on a regular "Audio" track.   Select it and drag it to Audio 1,

Muchas gracias to everyone who weighed in again and again. I tried everything and eventually went to Geek Squad. They advised me to try and export another video to YouTube to see if the problem was my particular file or the Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 program itself. No one at Geek Squad had any idea what the problem was? At home I was able to export another video of the same length. So, what I ended up doing was bringing back a previous version of my video which I had exported to YT and reediting it to my liking. Then, low and behold it worked.  I'm pleased with the results. If anyone has any interest, here is the video for "Ordinary Day" by Banned 37. https://youtu.be/cLa57g0C-n4?si=Q054O2saZDR_clH0

Export your video to a mp4 and upload manually.

How can I export my video to an mp4? There is no other option but to save it as a Premiere Elements file.

What operating system (Windows 10, Sonoma, etc.)?

Now the problem is that the video won't render past 89%! Gets to frame 2439 of 2721 and just sits there forever even though it says only 43 seconds left?
