Change appearance of program

Explorer ,
Dec 29, 2017 Dec 29, 2017

I have Windows 7 and Elements 13.

I don't know what I have done but the text on the program layout is very tiny. I have adjusted the text size on Windows to 150% but it doesn't appear to have any effect on Elements. The text on the menus is so small it is difficult to work. Any suggestions on how I can make the text in the layout a normal size or do I have to reinstall the program?

I think I have sorted it. I reconnected my monitor a couple of days ago and I think it reset it to the highest resolution, which is recommended. I have reduced the resolution and the text on the program is now bigger.

Thanks for your help.

Use the Premiere Elements (PRE) tools to change and view the font size. (Working with text in PRE is a challenge since their main role is for titles and not labels...) Click the text box in PRE, and then in the Fix Menu (usually on the far right of your project , click on the icon that looks like two sliders. This is the 'Adjustments" panel. Select the text you want to change and make adjustments to suit.

Thanks for your quick response but I think you have misunderstood my question. I don't have a problem with the text in titles, etc but the text in the program appearance such as the menu headings at the top.

What is the resolution of the monitor?  What is your video card?

I don't have a high resolution monitor so I'm guessing a little.  But, if you do have one, I think you have to make adjustments in your video driver.

The resolution is at the maximum (recommended) 1920 X 1080

The video card is NVidia GeForce GT 730
