Crash Pre24 after Delete in Full screen

Jan 13, 2025 Jan 13, 2025

When in Full screen mode (Alt+Enter), then I see the clip with the Shuttle button below in the middle of the screen and the X close button at the right side of the screen.

In this setup I am using often the Home button to jump to the beginning of the clip.

Sometimes I am using the Delete button (just  below the Home button on my keyboard) by accident.

In that case the screen turned black. The navigation buttons and the X close button are still visible,

but if I use them nothing happens. At this moment here's nothing else to do but Alt+Ctl+Del and then closing Pre24 Editor in the list.

Or is there another way to continue without restarting Pre24?

I am using PC. Leaving full screen can indeed be done with ESC. Used keyboard is Logitec K330.

I just discovered that when the Delete button is (accidently) pressed followed by a black screen (ESC then does not work) then Ctrl+Z restores the clip in Full screen.
Problem solved.

I assume you're working on a PC and not a Mac.

That said, to return to the program from full screen, just press the ESC button on your keyboard. Are you sure you aren't pressing the End key (which is below the Home button my keyboard).

I'm not sure what happens when you click Delete -- other than you're deleting your video.
