Default Caslon Pro 68 Font Missing from our Windows Desktop

When we insert text, the text defaults to a symbol set called AIGTD (top font on list), apparently because the default font Caslon Pro 68 is missing.  In the Adjustments Panel > Style Tab, Caslon Pro 68 shows as the default font as expected.  Nevertheless, the Adjustments Panel > Text Tab > Font dropdown does not include Caslon Pro 68 in the font listing.

Likewise, we don't find Caslon Pro 68 even listed in our Windows 11 font folder on our desktop.  Interestingly, to the best of our recollection, this issue has persisted through a few upgrades of the Adobe Elements software.

Can anyone explain why the Adobe Premiere Elements default font is missing or how to restore the font?  How can we acertain that other fonts included with the software are not missing also?  Thank you in advance for any assistance.

This is a windows issue.

Caslon Pro is the font,

68 might refer to the font size.

If you want to use the font, you will have to download from the internet and install into Windows.

BTW i dont have Caslon Pro either.

Thank you, Ann, for your helpful response.  Interesting you mention it is a Windows issue, since I thought we were using the Adobe Premiere Elements defaults which would mean a default Adobe font supplied during installation.  Also interesting that you don't even have this font on your computer.  Thank you for the link to the Caslon Pro font on the Adobe website.

The only thing I can think is that the default font was somehow changed at some point.  Do you know which Adobe font should be assigned as the default for entering text?  Additonally, do you have any instructions on how we might change the default  font from Caslon Pro to the proper default or to some other desired font?
