Does Premier Elements 15 use GPU?

I am pretty sure it does but just wanted to confirm. Was thinking of adding a Nvidia 1060 card to my machine. I do a lot of 4K editing and computer is struggling a bit at the moment with i7 processor and 16gb ram.

Is there a setting you need to select to activate GPU or is it automatic?

    Premiere Elements does not benefit from a high-end graphics card.

    It's power is pretty much completely based on processor and RAM.
