How do I load my Gopro 7 videos into Premiere Elements 2019?  Windows 10 64bit....It just says no supported Codec...how could adobe not include that?

Sorry for the bad news, but neither Adobe nor Microsoft offer the H.265 codec.  Apparently neither believe in it.  If you have an Apple machine, H.265 is provided in the OS.

The links I posted earlier provide GoPro's point of view.

Your choices are limited to converting the H.265 to H.264 or finding another editing system.

As we've said, Premiere Elements does not work with the H.265 codec. I don't know what Adobe's motivation is.

FWIW, CyberLink PowerDirector costs about the same and does offer full support for H.265 video.

Depends on what the codec is and, to a certain extent, what operating system you're working with.

Open one of your GoPro videos in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the report that is generated and paste it to this forum. Once we know your video's specs, we can better recommend how to proceed.

Windows 10 Pro - File info:

    Codec: MPEG-H Part2/HEVC (H.265)(hvc1)
