Elements 2024 Organizer: Folder Problem

I organize my photos in folders labeled: [year][month].  If, during the period of a given folder, there is an event, I will create a subfolder.  For example, if Jack and Jill are married in July of 2022, I will create a folder 2022Jul with a subfolder Wedding.

In the pervious 2022 version of Priemiere Elements Organizer, all of the subfolders were listed, offset and directly below their primary folder.

In the 2024 Organizer, the subfolders are separated and not linked to their parent folders; listed separately and alphabetically.

How can I return to the prievious organizer format.

Any time you create a folder or album you should have the option create either a new parent or create the album under a parent directory. If that's not happening I'm not sure why. Are you saying that this is unique to the Events listing?

Attached are screenshots of Adobe Elements 2022 Organizer and of Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 Organizer.

Notice that in the 2022 version, on the left, the folders are organized alphanumeric with subfolders imediately below the parent folders.   In the 2024 version, the subfolders are separated out form parent folders.

How can that be corrected.

Have you tried setting the folders to Tree View?

No, I have not.  I have looked for a tree view setting; can not find it.
