Hi!

The other day I opened up the Elements Organizer (2019) and all the files I had in there are missing. Hundreds of files. I know the hard drive on my iMac is nearly full, and the entire computer has been getting backed up to an external hard drive via Time Machine.

I had added new media to the Organizer, but all the previous video footage and still photos are missing.

I just went to begin a new project in Premiere Elements, but when I clicked to open the Organizer a window popped up saying:

"The catalog could not be opened. An internal programming error occurred."

I would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to restore files and keep from happening in the future.

Peace!

Are your media files still on your hard drive? When you say all of the files are 'missing', do you mean that the files themselves are missing or that the Organizer just won't open your catalog? That's a big difference.
