Elements Premiere 12

Elements Premiere 12 öffnet sich nach Neuinstallation von Windows 10 nicht. Zuletzt funktionierte es unter Windows 7

Version 12 is about 10 years old and ran on operating systems that were current then.  Adobe no longer tries to make it run on operating systems that are current now.   I'm sorry that I don't know what you can do to make it work.

Hallo Bill,

danke, dass Du dich gemeldet hast. Gekauft und auch bei den Installationsangaben weist meine  Version Premiere Elements 12 auf das Jahr 2013 hin. Da wir erst Februar 2022 haben und das laufende Jahr erst begonnen hat, ist diese Version gerade mal etwas älter als 8 Jahre. Das Installationsproblem konnte ich allerdings mittlerweile selber lösen.

Hallo,

ich habe Premiere und Photoshop Elements 12 ganz normal installiert, öffnen und anmelden ging nicht. (Hilfe über den Adobe Support wurde nach anfänglicher Hilfe mit der Begründung abgelehnt, dass auf Grund des Alters des Programms kein Support mehr geleistet würde.) Ich habe mir dann überlegt, das installierte Programm über den „abgesicherten Windows Modus“ zu starten, was gelang. Dann habe ich bei geöffnetem Programm den abgesicherten Modus verlassen, Windows neu gestartet und Adobe jetzt anmelden können. Die Programme , also neben Premiere 12 auch noch Photoshop12 funktionieren jetzt einwandfrei.

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10 (and MAYBE Windows 11 ?)
-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window
-and/or select Run as Administrator to assign FULL Windows permissions

Hallo John,

danke, dass Du dich gemeldet hast. Deine Vorschläge haben mich leider nicht zum Ziel geführt. Ich konnte allerdings mein Problem mittlerweile selbst lösen und Elements Premiere 12 läuft mittlerweile einwandfrei.
