Export fails always at 5s to the end

Hello,

Using Premiere Element 20 on PC intel I7, 16 Go RAM with Intel Iris Xe graphics.

I am trying to export a video without any effects (purpose was only to compressed video using Premiere element) and with the reduce size option.

With the quick export and partage it always freezed at 5s to the end. There is no error message, only the progress bar that freezes and even after 15min nothing happens.

I tried several times, restart my computer and it is still the same. I also tried without the reduce size option, same issue.

My input video lasts 44s and is 76Mo size

Thank for your help

Do you have a stop marker at the end of your timeline? You should not.

Is there a blank spot in your timeline where there is no video? That also can choke the program. Replace blank spots with black video.

There could be other things to look for. Can you post a screen shot of your timeline -- especially its last minute or so?

Hello,

another update: I also try to flush the media cache, no change.
I also check my windows updates, everythin is up to date and my .NET framework is the latest.

Thanks by advance if anyone has an idea. 🙂

you're right, there is blank spot in the original video (even if it is a single sequence). I was not sure to understand what your were meaning by blank spot, sorry.

I didn't notice that because rendering is ok and I'm able to see the entire video without any troubles inside premiere element.

I try to add black video as you said as first video and above the other one but is still the same issue because when I add the principal video the black video that I added is modified with exactly the same blank spot at the principal ones.

LATEST

Go the the Preferences (under the Edit menu on a PC) and uncheck the option for GPU acceleration.

If this doesn't work, there's something buggy at that point on your timeline. Make a copy of your project, open it and delete the last 5 minutes as an experiment. Can you output the movie now?
