Graphics setup for Premiere Elements 2023

Participant ,

I have an i5 laptop which coped well with eg Power Director editing and is performing OK now with PE 2023 ... my editing needs are basic.

Product: i5 8250U Processor/8GB mem/SSD

What is the best set up regards Graphics?

Graphics: Intel UHD 620 and NVIDIA Mx150. Just now set to use the Mx150 ... should I use the 'Let Microsoft Choose'setting?

Thanks Ron

Premiere Elements does very little with your GPU. More recent versions use your GPU to improve playback of the timeline, requiring less hard rendering of your preview playback as you work. But you'll get very little boost in performance from your GPU in Premiere Elements.

You'll see virtually no difference setting your Windows graphics settings for gaming.

My question is similar. I have a Dell AIO, i5 processor, 8Gb, SSD, 2 graphics cards - Intel Iris and MVIDIA MX330. Which Graphics settings within Windows 11 should I use?

Thanks Steve. I realise that the NVIDIA Mx250 is base grade so I will just set for Microsoft to choose and check if any issues arise.
