HEVC codec for Premiere elements 14

Hello,

I have premiere elements 14 running, and I have a video with a HEVC codec. I already installed the codec for windows 11 I am on, and in the media plyeres it runs fine, but I cannot load it into PrE 14. Can anyone help please?

E14 does not support HEVC.

convert your footage to H.264 with HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder 

then you can edit your files.

Set your phone to H.264 instead of H.265.
