Hello,
I dragged some clips into the organiser, just for testing purposes.
Now I want to try making a short film, but with different clips.
The problem is, I can't delete these clips, and when I start a new project, they're still there.
How can I get rid of them?
macOS Tahoe 26.1
Premiere 2026 trial version
Kind regards
Alooha

I'm not sure what you mean by "They're still there". The Organizer is supposed to help you keep track of all the clips on your hard drive, so they should be there.
But that said, you can remove clips from your Organizer by right-clicking on them and selecting the delete option. This will remove them from the Organizer catalog but won't erase them from your hard drive unless you check the option to do so.

When I create a new project I fstill ind the clips from the previous project in the organizer that I don't need nor want anymore.
Nothing happens when I right-click. I have tried everything, right-clicking included.

As I've said, the Organizer is designed to help you maintain and locate all media files on your computer. Unless you manually delete them from the Organizer catalog, they program will show them all.
When you say "The Organizer" do you mean the Organizer box in Premiere Elements or the separate Organizer program. In this separate Organizer program you can add or remove media files from your Organizer catalog.

This is a link to the Elements Organizer, and this is how it should function. These media assets are not in your project. The Organizer is merely showing you all of the assets available on your hard drive.
If you don't want to see this view, select instead the option to browse to File and Folders.

It contains only the files I had imported for my test project.
But it doesn't matter anymore: my trial version expires today, and even if I do buy the full version, it won't be right away.
Thank you for your patience and help.
I've seen some of your excellent tutorial videos!
Best regardsAlooha
